• Developing strategies for acquisition and sale of intellectual property: Prior to pursuing
  
• IP due diligence services in M&A transactions: Often times, intellectual property is not properly assessed in the context of an M&A transaction.  Consequently, there are missed opportunities or large liabilities that go unnoticed until after the closing of a transaction.  We work with a variety of constituencies including buyers, sellers, law firms, investment bankers, private equity and venture capital firms to assess the impact on IP on a proposed transaction.
  
• Patent landscape projects:  Prior to commencing an effort to obtain intellectual property, many of our clients desire to conduct an IP landscape project to fully understand the quality and quantity of intellectual property in particular technology areas and the competitions position with respect to this intellectual property. 
  
• Valuation services: The value of intellectual property is often difficult to determine.  Valuation requires both an understanding of financial modeling and the applicability and breadth of the intellectual asset.  Further, value can change dramatically when viewed from the perspective of a variety of different purchasers, strategic and financial, vertical and horizontal, R&D intensive and not. We have worked with numerous clients on valuing IP owned by them as well as their competitors and other third parties.
  
• Expert witness services: We have decades of experience in all facets of intellectual property and, therefore, can provide expert witness testimony in IP litigation cases.
